Rian Johnson dropped the keenly assembled suspense thriller Knives Out in 2019 which instantly hooked the viewers. Starring brilliant and immensely popular actors like No Time to Die stars Daniel Craig and Ana de Armas and of course, Chris Evans, this film blew the minds of fans. The drama received enormous praise for its ingenious presentation, tremendous characters, and deviously twisted murder mystery.
Taking forward that madly entertaining story, the creators made another addition to the franchise. Titled Glass Onion, the highly anticipated sequel received the widest theatrical release this month. This new mystery lived up to the expectations of fans reprising Craig in the role of master detective Benoit Blanc. Now the internet is flooding with reviews and reactions as fans pick their favorite from both movies.

There is war on the platform as viewers are explaining why the movie they chose is the best. While there are many who can’t decide between the two since both the storylines has left a unique impression on the audience.
One fan stated: “Both are fantastic. I think I enjoyed Knives Out slightly more.”
“Knives Out was less overtly and politically biased. The characters were also fun to dislike due to how grounded they felt. Glass Onion’s characters were caricatures of e-celeb culture that I have zero care for,” remarked a second fan.
“I’m choosing both because why TF not?” commented a third user.

Glass Onion!
Not to say there aren't some things KO did better, but GO:
– more nuanced details to enjoy for rewatch
– presented all the info for you to solve things on your own (no, it wasn't too easy- you did Not guess the Google alerts sub-convo)
– more lively & diverse cast— Kyland Young (@kylandyoung) December 27, 2022

Knives out no question. Glass Onion was mid. Fun in the heat of the moment. But the film is a mess. And the mystery is pretty lazy. They do a bunch of false clues for the longest time only to dump the real ones at you half way trough. And then it becomes so damn predictable.

Both were good, but Knives Out is far superior.
