As reported by thepowersblogging, the Duchess in the month of October last year, launched a $1 million giveaway donation for women struggling with a financial crisis in their day-to-day lives. The report suggested that Markle drew her inspiration to take this step from her own award-winning podcast Archetypes on Spotify. Through her Archewell Foundation, she tied up with the VING Project to help raise funds.
In the course of the same, the Duchess sent an open invitation to anyone between age 14-18 to “nominate a woman who has inspired them and defied life’s hardships” in case they knew any. She thereby called for the nominators for a chance of winning $1000 for bringing such women to her notice. In the announcement speech of the same movement, the Duchess took pride in the partnership and the “good they hope to see come from it.”
