As we all know, Henry Cavill recently revealed that he would no longer be reprising his role as the Geralt of Rivia in the sci-fi series The Witcher. The news was bittersweet. On one hand, he announced his departure from a very popular show and on the other, Cavill made his much awaited comeback as Superman.
However, recently, insider Matt Ramos made some shocking statements. Ramos revealed that Cavill left The Witcher and returned as Superman and now might get dropped. He reminded the fans of when DC announced their search for a new Superman on Cavill’s birthday.

Following this, Ramos wrote another tweet where he talked about what the future for Cavill’s Superman looks like. Ramos spoke, “we don’t really know what’s going to happen moving forward but things aren’t looking good.”

As of late, we do not have any confirmation about what the future holds for the Man of Steel. Recently, rumors of DC securing a backup plan in case Cavill was unable to take up the Superman mantle were floating around as well.
