Amidst the Northern Realms lie the four main kingdoms of the Witcherverse. Running along the Gulf of Praxeda is Redania, where Francesca cast her infamous fatal spell. This event was a result of Emperor Emhyr var Emreis’s actions who plotted the cunning move. He did this upon reaching Ciri’s land of Cintra, which is sandwiched between Temeria in the North and Nazair in the South.
Fans can also explore these realms on Kaer Morhen’s interactive map. Meanwhile, Cintra’s significance lies in its Nilfgaardian takeover, which caused Ciri’s exile. But the land that holds the most mystique is Rivia, which lies to the East of Temeria in Lyria.
According to the books, the queen of Lyria played a major role in building Geralt’s identity. After all, she bestowed a special honor on the protagonist of The Witcher.
