India Amarteifio Sends Out a “Steamy Scenes” Warning to Her Family, Suggests They Go to ‘Liquor Locker’ Before They Stream Netflix’s ‘Queen Charlotte’
Apart from the drama, costumes, ballrooms, and waltzing, the Bridgerton universe is famous for one thing. And that’s the steamy romance between couples. Although everything about the Shonda Rhimes shows is so stunning that it leaves the audience gasping. Yet one certainly cannot disagree that these fantastical period storylines are basically one giant romance saga. So the approaching highly anticipated series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story is no different from its predecessor. However, it appears that the leading actress India Amarteifio has some fears regarding the same for her family eagerly waiting for the show.
India Amarteifio recently stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote her show Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. During the interview, the host showed posters of the show taking over billboards everywhere. Seeing one of the posters above a liquor locker wine, the comedian made a joke that it is almost equal to receiving an Oscar. The 21-year-old star also said that her family needs to check this out because streaming the show.

“Just some of the scenes are a little bit steamy, a bit racy, a bit not for the eyes,” she explained. Moreover, the American host asked her mom sitting in the audience if she has watched those scenes. In his response, the actress revealed that they have watched it together and asked her mom’s opinion.
It turned out that her mother wasn’t uncomfortable with the steamy scenes and knew that it was a part of her job. She said that she had read some of the lines when the Disney alum auditioned for her role. However, she did pass over the intimate scenes because it would be bizarre for any family to read or watch them.

Moving forward, Kimmel asked the young star how her grandparents are going to react to the steamy scenes. Answering that she stated that will make a spreadsheet for people who want to watch the show. Then she would mark the stream scenes so they don’t have to skip the whole episode for it.
Jimmy Kimmel suggested that she should get an edited version for her family. Sounds like a good plan! Meanwhile, as for fans, the British actress has already told them that this show will be a game-changer for diverse cultures.
