Perhaps one of the most unexpected exits, the British actor left the fans devastated by his sudden departure. The fans of the show were very disappointed as they stormed the internet with petitions to bring Henry Cavill back. At the same time, losing one of the most treasured fantasy actors was tough for the show as well. And recently, producer Tomek Baginski broke his silence following the actor’s exit.

The Enola Holmes star leaving the popular fantasy show was a shocker for all of us. From the audience to the cast and crew, it has been a tough time for the entire Witcher family. And prior to the actor’s last appearance in the show’s third season, Baginski had a few things to say to the fans. The producer went into great detail as he spoke about how the show would go on following Cavill’s departure. Baginski revealed to Metro UK, “I think we will all miss him but at the same time, the show goes on.” The producer also opened up about Liam Hemsworth taking over.

Elsewhere, Baginski revealed that replacing the Man Of Steel star with Hemsworth was “very accurate” for the forthcoming lore. However, he did not dive much deeper into the topic, fearing he might give some spoilers away in the process. Not long ago, Anya Chaltora, who plays Yennefer also revealed how Henry Cavill was the best person she worked with.

Despite all the criticism the show gathered, Baginski is optimistic that the audience still might like it a lot. The producer spoke about how people who are familiar with the books know various versions the story could take with Hemsworth joining as the new Witcher. Meanwhile, he still admitted that he will miss the British star in the role.
