Part 1 of Season 3 of The Witcher had a brief lull where Cavill’s Geralt settled on a pretty idyllic lifestyle with Yennefer and Ciri. However, as he got once again on the run behind monsters, the season took a breather. In the meantime, the actresses had the time to unite as close friends. In an interview with Elle UK, the duo highlighted their lives on the show as well as what scared them the most. Anya Chalotra took it philosophically by answering that “the monstrous qualities of people” scared her the most.
Taking it a step ahead, Allan countered that the duo was strong enough to take down some of the most vicious monsters known. While indeed, they have taken on Jackapace and Aeschna as Yennefer and Ciri respectively, the real world is a whole different ball game. Regardless, Allan noted that the duo was “headstrong and everyone we know is that too.” Oh, how graceful it must feel to have two strong women among the leads!
Regardless, the onus is pretty high on both of the actresses as their characters take centre stage with the upcoming season four.

Season three of The Witcher bonded Yennefer and Ciri ever so closely as a mother-daughter duo. While they both separated on their personal quests, it is undeniable their sheer scale of power. In season three, Yennefer finds herself trying to lead and reform another Brotherhood after the death of Tissaia. Meanwhile, Ciri was transported to the Korath desert and joined a group called the Rats .
Unbeknownst to their characters, Geralt has already taken a different path altogether. Liam Hemsworth is about to come out of the horizon that Henry Cavill’s Geralt faded into. Additionally, as the show is bound to feel the need for narration, the two powerful characters may come to aid. Regardless, the show must focus on closing the many sub-plots that it has left open-ended.
