Chris Hemsworth and Ed Sheeran have left the internet melting with their act of generosity. The British singer and the Australian actor’s unexpected post may leave one wondering if they were up to a project. But it was actually them exchanging a special piece of their own respective professions.
Both celebrities took to Twitter to share their epic exchange of tools. Hemsworth captioned the post as, “Just an instrumental trade off between two blokes.” The post was accompanied by a thirty-second clip of the two. While Sheeran gave away one of his special guitars, Hemsworth gave away his Thor Hammer. “I think I could make a better Thor,” said Sheeran as he proudly held onto the guitar.

For those unversed, Thor’s hammer is called Mjǫllnir, a divine instrument used for both wars and blessings. Now, in the Marvel movie, the hammer only goes to the one who is worth it. So when Sheeran was handed the hammer, the video showed him as being worthy of it.
Fans were left in awe to see the duo give away such special things.

Chris Hemsworth signed off his greatest prop from working in MCU’s Thor, which is the epic hammer. Sheeran, on the other hand, wrote ‘another’ as he gave away his guitar to the actor. One fan suggested that the ‘another’ sign is a reference from a Hemsworth movie. Another one appreciated the exchange but hoped that the two won’t exchange professions. Then again, one joked about how Thor’s hair was red, so the redhead singer would have no problem exchanging roles.

The MCU fans feel that the ‘Antisocial’ singer is now a part of MCU by possessing one of the strongest tools. While he never worked in a fantasy film before, perhaps the new friendship with Chris Hemsworth could help him bag a role in a superhero film.
