“I think he left with…”- ‘The Witcher’ Executive Producer Has A Special Comment On Henry Cavill Leaving The Show
No one can perhaps hold a candle to the fact that Henry Cavill lived a glorious life as Geralt of Rivia over three seasons of the Netflix fantasy series, The Witcher. Within a short span of two seasons, not only has he garnered a cult classic following for the show, but even his c0-stars and co-workers seem to have immense respect for the British actor.
Among many others, the show’s executive producers, Steve Gaub and Tomek Baginski also came forward recently singing the praises of the fan-favorite monster butcher. While talking to Yahoo UK, Gaub stated, “I think he left with his head held high.” He further insisted that while Cavill is leaving behind a great legacy, they are “going to be in great hands with Liam.”
Henry Cavill notably announced his exit from the show back in October 2020, leaving fandom in utter shock. Even with the choice to discontinue the show after Cavill’s exit, showrunner Lauren Hissrich has since promised a great final showdown for the heart of the series. The producers also maintained that stance, believing that the British actor will be proud of his one final run as Geralt.

Speaking along the lines of other members of The Witcher family, their trust in Hemsworth not only sounded optimistic, but confident.
Talking about the transition, they stated that even though they will miss Cavill but they have “a very, very good plan” to bring in Hemsworth’s Geralt and hence the “new vision.” And although they did not talk about it in detail, we now know it is “deeply embedded in the books, especially in book five” (Via Yahoo UK).
