<p>The reasons were many for fans to fall in love with the show, but the bubbly Enid Sinclair shared the perfect reason behind this obsession back in May of this year.</p>

In the interview, she shed some light on why people resonated with the titular character and the show. She stated that the comedy-drama presented the deadpan girl in a more humane form. This happened because, for the first time, she made friends, and it softened her sardonic vibe a bit. Wednesday made a lot of progress: from being a teenager who hated hugs to finally dropping this wall for Enid when they fought the evils together in season 1.</p>
