Receiving awards is always a big deal for any movie, TV show or any actor and actress. It means that your work is seen and appreciated enough to be rewarded. That is what happened with the Korean actress who starred in the hit Netflix series Squid Games, Jung Ho Yeon.
Jung Ho Yeon bags a big win

The debutant who won her first award ever, beating The Handmaid’s Tale‘s Elisabeth Moss, Succession‘s Sarah Snook, and The Morning Show stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. This is a significant win, generating Emmy buzz for the show and the cast.
In her acceptance speech, she thanked the jury and her Squid Game cast. She also recalls her dream of being an actor while watching her fellow nominees win awards just like she did last night. Alongside her, her co-star Lee Jung Jae won the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series.
Calm as ever
Award nights are a serious and nervous night for even the most established actors. You have to worry about how you look, whether you will win or not, and most of all, to be calm under all the pressure and attention. But it seems like all the stress was less for our Jung Ho Yeon. Ho Yeon was seen enjoying her time before the award night by sightseeing in the beautiful Venice.
