Likewise, A Quiet Place star Emily Blunt revealed how Tom Cruise was stern with her while they were filming the Edge of Tomorrow.

Emily Blunt on working with Tom Cruise on Edge of Tomorrow

The 2014 sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow was the first time the American actress and Tom Cruise worked together on a film. During her appearance on the Smartless Podcast alongside Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, Blunt recalled her experience of working with Cruise. The Sicario actress revealed how the mechanical costumes used in the film were extremely heavy, causing her to break down on the set.

Blunt admitted how she expressed her concern about the stunts and costumes featured in the movie. The actress revealed how she cried in front of Cruise while she put on her costume. The Jungle Cruise actress spoke, “The first time I put it on I just started to cry in front of Tom, and he didn’t know what to do.” Shortly after, The Mummy actor told her, “stop being such a p—y.” However, Blunt clarified how she laughed off to Cruise’s comment and went on with the shooting.

Edge of Tomorrow features Tom Cruise as Lt. Bill Cage and Emily Blunt as Rita. The duo starred as soldiers fighting an invincible army of aliens. Apart from Cruise, the film also features Bill Paxton and Brendan Gleeson.
