"I don't really remember a life without it”- Sadie Sink Reflects on a “bittersweet ending”of ‘Stranger Things’
The conclusion of Stranger Things has left a bittersweet taste in everyone’s mouth. While the show had great momentum on the streaming juggernaut Netflix, it is time to turn the page to the last chapter. As the show approaches its end, those associated with the series for almost a decade are feeling a lump in their throat. For the cast members, particularly the young actors who started their journey on the show, it is especially difficult to bid farewell to this coming-of-age series.
Reflecting on the same sentiment, Sadie Sink recently opened up about her feelings regarding Stranger Things reaching its conclusion with the fifth season.

Sadie Sink has been on Stranger Things since the second season, playing the character Max. In an interview with UPI, the actress recently shared her thoughts on the show's ending. After expressing her gratitude for the show and how “special” her character is to her, the 22-year-old mentioned that the final season is going to be a “bittersweet ending” for her. “I don't really remember a life without it,” said the Fear Street actress.
Sink also expressed a wish to “keep going” on the show even beyond season 5 if the makers let her. In an earlier interview on the Today show, the star openly admitted that saying goodbye to the cast and crew is going to be "awful". However, not every member of the cast feels the same way about bidding farewell to the franchise after five seasons.
The lead, Millie Bobby Brown, is one of them. The actress is, in fact, rumored to be planning on taking an early exit from the show.

Millie Bobby Brown has been on record stating her exhaustion with Stranger Things. Despite being immensely grateful for what the Duffer Brothers-created show has given her, the actress wants to move on from the franchise and explore other opportunities in her career. “It's time to create your own message and live your own life,” said the actress in her interview with Women's Wear Daily prior to the actors' strike.
Even in her Glamour interview, Brown shared how the long filming schedules of Stranger Things are putting a damper on her ability to pursue stories she is passionate about. Hence, although there has been no confirmation of the rumors regarding an early exit, it is safe to say that Brown's feelings about the show’s ending are like night and day compared to those of Sadie Sink.
