This led to an awkwardly hilarious but sweet incident when Jamie Lee Curtis came across Haley Lu Richardson during the award ceremony. While the Halloween Ends actress looked confused, she was more than willing to get on the pitch made by the actress who plays Portia on the show.

A lot happened during the 2023 SAG Awards. But one moment that stole the show was Curtis’ interaction with the Ravenswood actress. Richardson was talking to People magazine when the senior actress was also stopped for an interview. Seeing Curtis, The White Lotus actress explained to her how everyone has been asking her who she wants to see in the next season of the dark comedy series and her answer was Jamie Lee Curtis. “Do you want to do it?” she asked hopefully. Curtis, who looked confused at first, replied by saying, “Yes. I don’t even know what it is, but I will do it.” 

The presenters joked about whether this was a verbal contract being made. But the conversation got the Freaky Friday actress excited as she asked where the shooting would be. Richardson pitched further by assuring that the shooting takes place in fancy places. They shot the second season in Italy and there are higher expectations for the next season.

The cast members claim not to know what’s coming in the next season. But they dazzled during the awards night.

Both actresses had the spotlight on them during the 29th SAG Awards

Jamie Lee Curtis won the Award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role category for her character in Everything Everywhere All at Once. She planted a kiss on co-star Michelle Yeoh’s cheek while giving her acceptance speech. Notably, Curtis has also bagged a nomination at Oscars 2023 for her impressive performance in 2022 hit drama.

On the other hand, Haley Lu Richardson and the cast of The White Lotus cast had a reunion. The drama won the award for Best Ensemble for season 2. With many potentials for season 3, it will be seen if the Knives Out actress makes an appearance as well.
