After season 3 of The Witcher, it was evident that Ciri would be taking center stage in the next season. Especially in the case of one of the show’s characters, Tissaia de Vries.

In the book as well as the series, Tissaia is faced with a rather difficult decision after the events at Aretuza. While the character was one of the most powerful mages in the place, she ended up having her heart broken by Vilgefortz. However, things spiral more out of control after his revelation of faking his emotions. It eventually led to her taking her own life.

While the talk about the show’s affair with inaccuracy to the source material is discussed far and wide, there are few moments where the creators decided to do the much needed.

The Witcher’s book accurate Ciri moments

Over the years, there have been many complaints about The Witcher series straying away from its source material. While that may have been the case various times before, they seem to be on the right path for Ciri’s storyline. From having a fake Ciri at Nilfgaard to the character having to fight a wyvern after calling out a man in Gors Velen, the character’s storyline seems to be going according to plan as of now.

At the end of the third season, Ciri is captured by Nilfgaardian brigands. However, she ended up being rescued by an unruly gang of teenage miscreants called The Rats. While anyone who has read the books knows that this will not end well for Freya Allan’s character, this along with Liam Hemsworth as Geralt has added more anticipation for the upcoming season.
