His famous roles include Sebastian Wilder in La La Land and Jacob Palmer in
Crazy, Stupid, Love. The actor has racked up various accolades and two Academy
Award nominations. Fans have never seen a movie that cast Goslings and weren’t a
commercial success. However, he did once invite legal trouble out of Michigan
for making a movie “similar” to the iconic Vin Diesel franchise Fast and Furious

rolled out shocking news that a Michigan woman sued FilmDistrict for a
misleading trailer. The report revealed that a lady named Sarah Deming filed a
cast against the movie Drive starring Ryan Gosling. She claimed that the trailer
is giving Fast and Furious-style thrills and it is feigning for viewers.



“Drive bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film… having very
little driving in the motion picture,” read the lawsuit statement.

Moreover, the Michigan woman asked for compensation and demanded the trailer be
halted since it has misleading content. However, all these claims didn’t hold
any strong ground and the case was dismissed. Even fans did not agree with the
allegations put by Deming because they liked the movie.

attention from viewers. The rating was amazing as IMDb rating the flick 7.8
stars on 10 and Rotten Tomatoes approved the movie with a 93% rate. The film
thrived earning $81.4 million at the box office which was a huge success with a
budget of $15 million. Fans loved the acting of Ryan Gosling who played the role
of a Hollywood stunt driver.
