Speaking of the core members, in the final season, the young adults, Maya Hawke, Joe Keery, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton, in the third tier, would earn something around $6 million while Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Finn Wolfhard would extract $7 million each as the second tier earners. 

Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour form the first tier of salaries, with Ryder and Harbour earning $9 million each. Brown's salary remains uncertain but is expected to be around $15 million, considering she earned $10 million for Enola Holmes 2, a less popular show. This would make her the highest-paid cast member, continuing her status as the show's leading star.

While the salaries of the stars have shot up, the franchise has seemingly adjusted the budget by keeping the cost of production same as before.

With new characters on board for the final season of Stranger Things, the salary details of the supporting cast have been left unclear. According to the reported main cast members' salaries, the rest of the stars' earnings would roughly stand at 6-7 million combined. As for filming, the cost of production remains on par with that of season 4. 

As reported by Quartz, “Netflix is spending $30 million per episode on the fourth and final season of its popular series Stranger Things”. Hence, the total budget stands at roughly around $270-300 million dollars. This makes Stranger Things one of the most expensive shows ever produced by the American streamer, underscoring Netflix's commitment to delivering a satisfying conclusion to the series.
