It was nothing less than a dream come true for the regular hoarder of the novel and an avid gamer of the series. Having starred for three marvelous seasons, the former Geralt expanded his financial portfolio like a ship rocket. 

2023, however, was a game-changer for the superstar as his stay in the Witcherverse was cut short due to creative differences and Liam Hemsworth took the swordsmanship. Yet, his accumulated riches from the show are enough to cater to jaw-dropping reactions. 

What was Henry Cavill’s The Witcher paycheck like?

Throughout the 3 installments, Henry Cavill delivered magic in his monster-hunting avatar. Although the hotchpotch over source accuracy did not let him continue his stay for the 4th season, Henry Cavill amassed enough memories and even more wealth in his limited run. As per Variety reports, Cavill acquired a whopping figure of $3.2 million for the first season and a staggering amount of $8 million for the second. 

The British actor reportedly charged $400,000 per episode during The Witcher’s first installment. It rose to the figure of $1 million per episode for the show’s second run. While it is still unknown how much Cavill took home for his portrayal in the third season, there is no doubt that it was an enhancer of his glittering net worth. However, these hard-to-miss earnings were not the biggest takeaway for the actor, since his passion and intrigue for the franchise outshines the number. 

Apart from The Witcher franchise, the former Geralt was also a recognized face in the DC universe. While on the topic, it would cause no harm to mention that his paychecks from that premise were pretty convincing, too. 

Henry Cavill’s DCU earnings

In a year, Cavill’s fandom had to let go of two big names that they associated him with: Geralt and Superman. As a result, his farewell to the DCEU did not sit well with the supporters. While what is done cannot be undone, his stay as the Last Son of Kryptonite remains a glory for both the enthusiasts and himself. Being the standout star of the franchise, it is not a shocker that his salary was also noteworthy. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Henry Cavill was paid an impressive amount of $300,000 upfront for the Man of Steel. His later earnings from the DCU projects are foggy, but as per StyleCaster’s report for Variety’s speculation, the actor earned around $20 million for the Justice League. Therefore, it is safe to say that Cavill is now a well-heeled individual, despite his cut from the two major franchises.
