Not long after their grand wedding in May of 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced to the world that they were expecting their first child. But the reaction it garnered definitely was. Owing to the fact that Markle before marrying into the royal family was an actress in the highly rated law series Suits and also due to people seeing glimpses of the late Princess Diana in her demeanor, this baby announcement thrilled more than just the United Kingdom. While the public announcement strictly adhered to its format, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry broke the news of their first pregnancy in a very wholesome manner.
How did the royal family find out about the pregnancy of Meghan Markle?
Before the stakes of what an eventful year is for the royal family were set way high in 2020, 2018 with its two royal weddings and a pregnancy announcement was considered an eventful year. After the summer marked the marriage of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, October made a beautiful pair of Princess Eugene, and her businessman husband Jack Brooksbank. All key members of the Crown from the late Queen Elizabeth II,Ā Prince Philip,Ā Prince Charles,Ā Prince William, and Kate Middleton were present at Windsor Castle to celebrate the wedding of Princess Eugenie.

And Prince Harry and Meghan Markle saw this as the perfect occasion to inform the royal family of the good news. The couple added stars to the already happy occasion with their announcement and the royal family was “delighted” for them, as reported by E! News.
While the royal family may have been delighted by the news then, Markle revealed much later in her court documents that she felt “unprotected” by them according to BBC.
The last person that came into the monarchy that helped modernize it and bring diversity; was bullied out.

In their Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan the couple shared many snippets of their personal milestones and their first pregnancy was also one of them. The second part of the documentary entails a picture of a pregnant Meghan Markle looking out the window and one of her standing under a beautiful tree with her dog. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on May 6 in 2019.
