Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling never announced their marriage, although rumor has it that they had a private marriage procession. Since 2011, the couple has welcomed two beautiful baby daughters Esmeralda in 2014 and Amada in 2016. While their affair with privacy is not unknown to anyone, an insider revealed just how much they value their normalcy by sharing a strict parenting rule they follow.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are not your average Hollywood couple

Both Gosling and Mendes began dating at a time they were at the peak of their careers. But despite being top Hollywood celebrities, the couple has taken the road not taken. After having kids, Mendes was almost nowhere to be seen in the movie industry, with Lost River in 2014 being the last of her works.

Many began to speculate that she had quit acting, but the actor was quick to clear the air with an Instagram post saying, “I never quit,” and she only wanted to spend more time with her babies. This act did not go unappreciated by The Notebook actor, who dedicated his Golden Globes award to Mendes.

Furthermore, although their residence is in Los Angeles, the family travels around the world to spend more time with each other. This just goes to prove how serious the couple is about spending time with their kids.

Mendes and Gosling have house duties

After becoming the founder of a cleaning band named  Skura Style, the Hitch actress revealed in an interview with People that she is a “kitchen freak.”  “Ryan’s the cook. He’s an incredible cook,” she was quick to admit that cleaning is her forte, whereas cooking is her boyfriend’s. Since the couple has their house duties set, an insider revealed to US Weekly that they do not have a nanny for their kids.

The Place Beyond the Pines couple have a tutor to take care of their kid’s academics but have chosen to do the rest by themselves. Considering their busy schedules, it is commendable that the two have made taking care of their kids a priority.
