Henry Cavill to play Hyperion?

Strong rumors of Henry Cavill starring in MCU’s television series Loki have been creating a buzz for some time now. Cavill is likely to play Hyperion. Hyperion was introduced by Roy Thomas and Sal Buscema as a member of the Squadron Sinister. He is more of a villain, a negative role and an imitation of DC’s Superman. Similar to Superman, Hyperion is eternal and possesses great strength and power. Apart from that, Hyperion also has flight, agility, and speed. In addition, Hyperion’s atomic vision is similar to Superman’s heat vision.

Although there is no official confirmation, CineStealth’s official Twitter account tweeted about the rumor of Henry Cavill being starred as Hyperion.

However, fans did not exactly jump at the idea and had mixed reactions to the tweet. Here are a few fan tweets.
