Cast members Freya Allen, Joey Batey, and Anya Chalotra spoke to The Hook, as they sat for an interview. While talking about their memories, fun, and drawing Geralt, Allen revealed a hilarious story regarding Cavill. As per her, they were shooting for an episode once, when a cast member accidentally referred to Cavill as Richard, instead of Witcher.

Chalotra burst into laughter as Allen continued to explain how confused Cavill was about the name mix-up. As per her, the 40-year-old was still in character when he asked, “Who is Richard?” All three at the interview agreed how the funny incident broke them right there. Now the only other name that the Witcher goes by is Geralt, a muscular and mystical character that Cavill fits in perfectly. From where Richard came from will be a mystery to both the fans and the cast.

Many fans are upset over Cavill’s exit from the show, even blaming its makers for being the cause. And Hissirich has even assured that the transition would be smooth with more stories coming in.

But the former Superman will not exit without giving his audience well-deserved action, fun, and thrill. There is the promise of more dangerous paths for Geralt in season 3. The first part of the series has released on June 29 and has already received immense love from the fans for staying loyal to the source material. Volume 2 is all set to release on July 27th.
