Freya Allan has cemented her place in the show business in the past five years. The young actress got her first big break in the hit fantasy series The Witcher and has never looked back since. Her radiant presence instantly caught viewers’ eyes among black-clad Nilfgaardian armies and murky hinterland settings. There is no doubt that the English actress completely immersed herself in the role of Princess Cirilla. So much so that she chose to perform all stunts on her own.

Talking of stunts, Allan compared the beauty of stunts to nothing but a dance in an interview a few months ago.

Freya Allan on how her stunts felt like an art 

In September, Freya Allan did an interview with Behind the Blinds where she talked about her love for the series. The interviewer pointed out that Ciri has broken the stereotypes of the princess by becoming a warrior and asked if the actress enjoyed doing stunts. In her response, the 22-year-old shared how she loves doing stunts. Further, she pointed out how her dancing classes helped her a lot to perform them seamlessly.

“So I use some of that training. Stunts are very physical; they require you to be in tune with your body,” she said. According to her, stunts were like dancing as all she did was swinging with the other stunt performers. The Planet of the Apes star then went on to praise her team, saying how they were always supportive and designed stunts that suited her best.

Besides this, the Oxford-born star also spilled beans on how she found an instant connection with Princess Cirilla.

The Witcher star resonated with Ciri from the beginning

In the same interview, Freya Allan opened up about why she resonated with Ciri from the start. The budding actress shared how she loved her personality and how feisty the princess was. She saw a reflection of herself in the character because she was just like her when she was young. “She voices her opinion and knows what she wants for her future,” she remarked. Thus, these were the things that made the Into the Badlands star fall in love with her role.

With Henry Cavill gone from the show, the focus will be on the young star and she will take the lead. With her character joining The Rats at the end of season 3, it would affect her personality as per the books. However, how the new tale will unfold for Ciri in The Witcher depends a lot on Hissirich’s thought process. However, with her joining the mischiefs, there will be many stunts Allan would be doing on her own!
