Hot Menace: Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeny to Star In a New Will Gluck Rom-com

The year 2022 was full of action, adventure, superheroes, and sci-fi movies for instance The Batman. Of course, detective and mystery movies like Glass Onion: A Knives out the mystery, Death on the Nile, and Enola Holmes 2 had their share but Avatar 2, Black Adam, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness pretty much dominated the industry.

However, the genre that had the least releases was rom-com, and hence we got some good news for all the rom-com lovers out there. After a sudden dent in the lovey-dovey romantic hits, Hollywood is once again going to welcome another of its genre. On top of that, two of the hottest and most talented actors to ever exist are going to star in it.

It’s a Sydney Sweeny and Glen Powell starrer

Euphoria and The White Lotus fame Sweeny is also nominated twice for the prestigious Emmy Awards. Glenn Powell, on the other hand, began his career with short cameos but last year he was in one of the largest hits of the year Top Gun: Maverick.

Another exciting thing about the film is that Will Gluck will be directing it. Gluck is a renowned director and his most recognized projects include blockbuster rom-com. Easy A (2010), Friends with Benefits (2011), Annie (2014), the Peter Rabbit (2018) are some of his best creations.

The film is going to be an R-rated romantic comedy, which is pretty clear by its bold star cast. Yet another exciting factor of this unnamed film is its scriptwriter. The script department of the film will be supervised by Ilana Wolpert who has previously assisted Gluck in re-writing High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Fans meanwhile can barely resist the heat.


Overall this film sounds like a complete package and fans are already very excited about it. Although details of the film are not disclosed yet including its name, fans are definitely psyched about this Sydney Sweeny and Glen Powell starrer.
