The long-awaited confirmation from the Sussexes is finally here! The last few months had been dwelling over the humongous speculations about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attendance at the Coronation. With no more than three weeks left for the grand occasion, the Palace as well as the Sussexes have cleared the clot from both ends. King Charles has finally made it happen. His long-anticipated desire to get his family united, which he pulled off in many unusual ways for the sake of his youngest, has finally turned fruitful. 

Just a few hours ago, as reported by BBC, Buckingham Palace announced the confirmation of the Duke of Sussex at the grand event. However, there’s a catch. The centerpiece of the Sussexes, also the primary target of trenchant controversies of the royal family, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has withdrawn from the event. In a statement, the palace declared, “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May.” 

The Duchess, however, will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, it further added. 

Meanwhile, the Sussexes’ leading organization Archewell, also issued a similar statement breaking the news. It also reiterated the same news hereby making it crystal clear that Prince Harry will be joining the 2000 guest list for his father’s event. However, we are still unaware that the Duke will be attending all the subsequent royale events in the follow-up until the big day. 

Prince Harry to stand alongside royals for the first time post spare release 

This would be the first time the estranged royal will appear with his family after the bombshell revelations. The groundbreaking remarks made in Spare, and Netflix’s Docuseries, have made it quite impossible for the royals to think of reconciliation yet again. Nonetheless, King Charles’ affection for his son and his duty to the monarchy, has compelled the Prince to go back to his royal base yet again. 

Moreover, as reported earlier, May 6th also marks Prince Archie’s fourth birthday. Thus, the mum of the birthday boy will obviously be all swamped with the preparations. The invitation video has already indicated that the party will be organized is huge pomp and show. The last time the entire family put up a united front despite the controversies taking a toll was at the Queen’s Funeral.
