Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock is known for his box office hits like Jumanji, Red Notice, The Mummy Returns, the Fast and Furious franchise and so much more. It is highly rare to imagine a single flop by the retired wrestler professional. But, he too has given some box-office flops to his fans’ surprise, excluding DCEU’s Black Adam.

A 10-year-old box-office flop of the actor climbing the charts on Netflix, which is surprising to see. It was not met with positive reviews back in the time, but the narrative has taken a 360-degree turn after all these years.

As reported by Flix Petrol, G.I. Joe Retaliation has topped the Netflix top ten picks this week. Despite not being a financial disaster, the movie was met with negative reviews by both fans and critics back in March 2013. The film was criticized for its over-the-top action and poor writing with a major lack of originality. It is rated with 1.5 stars on Rotten Tomatoes and 5.7 stars on IMDb.

G.I. Joe Retaliation was based on the G.I. Toys franchise and was a sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Directed by Jon M. Chu, the movie starred Bruce Willis, Adrianne Palicki, and Channing Tatum. Despite its failure, the movie has made a comeback. Seems like The Rock does not serve a flop for real! Currently, Johnson is one of the richest celebrities in Hollywood who always expresses his ideas while filming movies.
