The fact that Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are a comedic duo is no new news, add Sean Hayes to the mix, and you get an incredibly authentic and hilarious podcast called Smartless. Unlike many other unexpected things, Smartless turned out to be one of the greatest podcasts of all time.
And it’s not just our word but Apple named it one of the Best Shows of 2020. According to Bateman, who gets his chance to play the host of the show once in three weeks, he thought it was a very dumb idea for the three of them to have a podcast. But to his surprise, not only did the podcast do well but even bagged itself two documentary-style specials on Discovery+.

Everything you need to know about the Smartless Docuseries
Owing to the success of the podcast, Discovery+ announced that it will be filming all the behind-the-scenes fun events of the tour. This was given considering the amazing guests that the show had on. From talented women such as Jennifer Anniston to Kamla Harris and leading men such as the President of the United States, Joe Biden to David Letterman, the show invites some of the most incredible people. Furthermore, the fact that only one person knows who the guest is while the other two are just as unprepared as we are, makes things even more exciting.
Discovery+ was a part of the Smartless team as they toured North America. Additionally, the documentary will feature celebrity interviews, exclusives, and highlights from what went on behind the scenes.
