The Sandman, Neil Gaiman’s iconic comic series, is many things: imaginative,
eccentric, and downright dark. It’s packed to the brim with gods, monsters,
real-life historical individuals, talking animals, and magic. Fortunately
Netflix’s The Sandman adaptation, thoroughly embraces every dark,
larger-than-life facet of Gaiman’s novel, taking viewers on a surreal trip
through realms both familiar and distant.



There are times that feel as if they were intentionally pulled from the pages of
the original comic, as well as episodes that masterfully merge the narrative of
numerous issues into something wholly new, with sumptuous imagery and gorgeously
