Here Are the 5 Characters That Can Help Henry Cavill Return in the DC Universe Apart From Superman

This hasn’t remained the question to brood over that Henry Cavill
[https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/henry-cavill/] will not play Superman anymore.
The new wheelmen of DC Studios have made it apparent that they do not want to
associate him with any future projects of this character. James Gunn and Peter
Safran are starting things afresh with new faces for all the superheroes in
their universe. Luckily, we can say that this beginning from the scratch can be
the right opportunity for the British actor to return to his fans in a new
avatar.

Though this handsome man cannot wear his shiny red cape again he still has the
potential to impersonate other existing characters. Notably, the CEOs have not
denied him from appearing in any other projects.

HENRY CAVILL CAN PLAY FIVE ICONIC ROLES IN THE DC UNIVERSE

You might remember James Gunn replied to a tweet last month clearing the rumors
about Cavill’s casting as Frankenstein in Creature Commandos. In the same tweet,
the director also revealed that they have discussed other roles with the actor.
While there was no confirmation of the character the studio might have offered
him we could only think of the five roles listed down below.

THE INTERGALACTIC SCOUT GREEN LANTERN

We all know Ryan Reynolds already booked Green Lantern playing the role of Hal
Jordan in the 2009 titular film. However, many might not know that the Man of
Steel alum was about to land this character long before her he did Superman. So
there is a chance he can fit into this role because the studio might be casting
a new Jordan in the future. But the question here is whether DC will prefer
Cavill or not because this character does not match the personality traits of
our beloved superstar who is often seen playing serious roles.

BLUE BEETLE

DC fans might already know that the DC Comics character Blue Beetle is already
on its way to make theatre debut this year. Based on the younger version of the
superhero this movie is slated for a release on August 18, 2023. The future of
Blue Beetle currently depends on the success of the film but if there is a
sequel the story will dive into the origin which presents a much older version.
According to the comics, the genius inventor Ted Kord is the real portrayer of
this superhero. So the 39-year-old could be the man because he already has
immense experience in playing powerful characters.

DEATHSTROKE

Well, it looks like the time has come for the Netflix star to change his aura on
the big screen. He has long been playing the roles of righteous wellwishers
whether it’s Geralt of Rivia or Clark Kent. The villainous mercenary of the
comic world Deathstroke might help him change his onscreen image. DC Comic fans
might already know that Deathstroke is a cold-blooded murderer who can kill
anyone who comes in the way. Moreover, James Gunn also has plans to bring this
anti-hero against some of the iconic superheroes of the franchise in the near
future.

SWAMP THING

Swamp Things is one of the most suitable choices for the actor considering that
we have seen him play a monster. This moss-covered superhuman is often depicted
as a loner residing in a boggy environment. Regardless of being portrayed as
some beast, this character has a history of combatting several villains.
However, despite possessing all these superhero qualities, this protagonist
failed to garner attention through the 2019 horror show. Therefore, it is
possible that the character can get the viewers’ attention because fans already
have a soft corner for the Stardust star following his removal from Superman.

SPECTRE

Henry Cavill is undoubtedly one of the top candidates to play this character on
the silver screen. The actor has already demonstrated his potential to play an
influential character whether it’s his positive side or dark. From a stoic
demeanor to a piercing stare, we have seen him giving his best in the climax
scenes of movies. So DCU can use him in bringing Spectre to life who is one of
the greatest and strongest supernatural entities like Superman.

While there are pleas of casting the actor in DCU again, the fans also have
other plans for Henry Cavill regarding what role he should play as they picture
him as another Marvel Superhero after Santry
