You must turn to The Kitchen on Netflix, for a storyline that will have you knee-deep interested with its strong perspective on survival, community, and societal decay. Being set in a dystopian set in London, you will follow Kane Robinson as his life changes when a young boy Izi comes along. 

The Kitchen directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, is a film that mastered the knack of explaining human connections even in the darkest of times. It makes for a watch at least once, as it takes you through a life opening your mind to different places with different societies and issues you may not even know exist. 

Mark Wahlberg starring in Netflix Original, The Union, plays Mike McKenna a construction worker who finds himself lured by his ex-girlfriend (played by Halle Berry) into a secret world of espionage and high-stakes missions across Europe. The film brings to the table a mix of action and comedy with daring stunts and sharp witty banter that brings in the laughs. It is a light-hearted movie to enjoy at any time, keeping you entertained and having fun while you chomp on your popcorn, making for a nice end to a stressful day. 

In Good Grief, you are introduced to Marc whose whole world is shattered and turned around by the sudden death of Oliver, his husband. In the hope of coping with his heavy loss, he takes off to Paris with two of his closest friends as a distraction. But little did he know, that this trip would uncover more truths and secrets that help him hide and move on. 

The whole picture of Marc in this movie feels real, with all the raw pain and emotions of loss, and the push to move on with life. As sad, as the plot sounds, it does a great job of bringing in moments of humor and laughs in between taking you through the ups and downs of understanding love, loss, and friendship.

You must have watched Willy Wonka, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, yes the same one.
