Henry Cavill to Lead ‘The Witcher’ Presentation at Netflix’s Tudum Event, ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ to Drop Some Much Needed Updates as Well

TUDUM,Henry Cavill and The Witcher cinematic universe were on a roll this year. Fans have been waiting with bated breaths ever since the announcement of Michelle Yeoh-starrer limited prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin. With The Witcher season 3 wrapping up production and the prequel in post-production, no one is as excited as fans for the Netflix TUDUM event. The event in question, TUDUM, will take place virtually on the 24th of September and will stream live on Netflix’s YouTube channel.

From first looks to new reveals and release dates to interviews of everyone’s favorite stars, TUDUM will have it all. Fans of the fantasy series will be blessed with their very own, The Geralt of Rivia aka Henry Cavill representing the series. Will Cavill drop the release date of The Witcher Season 3 at the event? Will he let us in on a major update in the series?

Henry Cavill to represent The Witcher at TUDUM

Like him or hate him, there is no one better to present the series than the Geralt of Rivia himself. It is confirmed that Henry Cavill in all his bulked-up glory will be presenting the series. Although we are speaking of the Superman here, fans cannot help but feel their spidey senses tingling that they will receive a major update on season 3 of The Witcher, especially since it wrapped up production last week.

With Netflix making it clear that the upcoming season will be releasing next year, we doubt we will be getting a release date. Fans also do not have high hopes for a trailer or teaser so early on since it is Netflix that we are talking about. But considering how the platform is trying new trends, we can still have hope.

For those of you who punched a pillow or cried into it after seeing no sign of The Witcher: Blood Origins at Netflix Geeked event, we bring good news. The series will be making an appearance at TUDUM. Although what we will get to see remains a mystery, it won’t be a far fetch to expect an official trailer or a proper teaser considering that the series has wrapped up production. And if we go by the news, the prequel will have a Christmas release. Thus, the TUDUM event with Henry Cavill is definitely the best time to get down to promoting The Witcher cinematic universe.
