June 29, 2023, marked an important day in the life of Henry Cavill fans. The Witcher season 3 AKA Cavill’s very last season opened its portal on Netflix and it seems like the die-hard fans and perhaps critics are going gaga over it. Despite the threats and petitions to abandon the show, and everything alike; the fantasy series is statistically soaring high on the streaming giant.
When the season made its debut almost a week earlier, everyone feared that it will not make a lasting impact like the previous seasons did. Well, because of obvious reasons. However, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich & Co. had faith in Cavill playing Geralt of Rivia for one last time. So much so that they apparently won fans back in abundance by promising a grand see-off to the fan-favorite Witcher. And their magic seems to have charmed the fans.
Vol. 1 of #TheWitcher S3 debuts at the top spot in Netflix's Top-10 chart for TV series in English language.
With 73M hours viewed and a 4:49h runtime, Netflix counts this as 15.2M views.
That's higher than Arnold Schwarzenegger's FUBAR and almost as high as XO, Kitty. pic.twitter.com/Ly9fZwh74v

The season has apparently led the week as the Top English series being viewed on Netflix. Even though the numbers as compared to its previous season are very low, people have certainly shown immense interest in Hissrich’s fantasy drama. As per Redanian Intelligence, the first volume has already been streamed for 73 million hours with a 4:49 hours runtime. And as per Netflix’s stats, this accounts for 15.2 Million viewers already.
These numbers have notably ascended FUBAR’s (starring Arnold Schwarzenegger) viewership hours. Notably, the season also went ahead of To All The Boys Spinoff, and XO, Kitty’s viewership hours as well.
Twitterati sound supportive of the series for the first time in months.
Twitterati congratulate The Witcher team for this feat for season 3
While almost a month earlier, they were signing petitions to renounce the show, now for the first time in months, they appreciate everything that the season’s first volume brought to the table. Some say it is a well-deserved achievement, others say it was best from Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan.

Others confessed that even though they were angry with the showrunner, they have done a good job in creating The Witcher season 3.
They have been 5 good episodes, i was angry with the showrunner and writers but i must say they did a good job.

One fan also pointed out how the numbers are still very low as compared to seasons 1 and 2 and that this much viewership is also because Henry Cavill is still there.

This data is not good for the array. Season 1 received 97 million views in its first week. Season 2 is 112 million. This season is a fiasco. I hope it gets even less views.
