Chances of Henry Cavill incarnating the most beloved character of DC Comics might almost be inevitable now. However, one thing we are certain of is that his version of Superman will continue to live in fans’ hearts. The British actor starred in three movies where he displayed all the requisite powers of this iconic character spectacularly. And we are sure that most of the fans already have a long list of their favorite moments from these movies that launched the career of this handsome man. But can you guess what’s the best version of Superman in the opinion of the former portrayer himself?
Cavill’s Superman had a quite distinctive depiction from what fans have seen in the past decades. As the Man of Steel began with a boy who was trying to hide his superpowers and be a part of the normies world. Fortunately, the character realized that his powers were not some curse but a boon he could use to save innocent people. That’s when we saw him stepping through the doors of a Kryptonian ship wearing the classic suit.
Back in 2018, Henry Cavill praised Zack Snyder’s version of Superman in a behind-the-scenes featurette of Justice League. During the conversation, the Netflix star stated that this movie brought the truest version of Superman onscreen. The actor had seen the character developing through all the phases and thought this powerful one was the most epic.

In one of his past interviews with Collider, the Stardust star opened up about wanting to play Superman from the source material. The actor believed he has already spent more time with a gentler version of the character. Therefore, he would love to see what his immense power can do when the superhero is out of that confused zone.
