However, the producer of the show, Tomek Baginski has something to say about who will take center stage in the upcoming season. And it is certainly not Geralt of Rivia. 

Taking inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels and The Witcher video games, the Netflix show’s next season will be closer to the books, as various people from the show have been talking about. However, the executive producer revealed it would be closer, yet it would not be the same as fans might think. While stressing about the future plans of the show, Baginski revealed the story will be a little more about Cirilla and less about other characters. 

This means the upcoming season will focus on Ciri and her journey. However, he also assured they would not leave any character behind, as Metro reported. Nevertheless, seeing Ciri’s character grow and take center stage would be so much fun for the viewers.

The Enola Holmes actor previously hinted about it, too. During his TUDUM interview, he talked about how his Geralt will have to fight for Ciri. Well, the producer added one more interesting surprise the upcoming season will see.

However, adding confirmation to the previous statements, Tomek Baginski admitted the third season has more materials from the original books than the previous one. 

He added, now, they would get the chance to expand the continent. Moreover, they could make their fans visit those kingdoms that were mentioned but never seen. Although he also added the thrill around the fourth season as well. Restraining himself from revealing more details about the upcoming projects in the pipeline for the future of the show, the producer certainly made The Witcher fans excited.
