Henry Cavill and his love for The Witcher lore is not unknown to the masses. From reading its novels to playing video games from the franchise, the British actor has always been a huge fan. It was the actor’s love for The Witcher that helped land him the lead role in the series. While Cavill has always done a fantastic job as an actor, season 3 seems to push the boundary a little. And recently, the show’s stunt director Wolfgang Stegemann made some interesting revelations about the upcoming season.

The third season of The Witcher is mere days away and fans from around the world are eager to witness Henry Cavill’s last performance as the Geralt. While every season of the show has been incredible, fans are particularly excited for season 3. To make matters exciting, the Superman star is leaving no stone unturned to make his last outing a huge one.

In a recent interview with Unilad, Stegemann revealed that Cavill helped him with the production as well. The stunt director spoke, “Henry and I basically sit together on the monitor, and we hold the cameras and go through the fight to find the right angles, the right movements.

He even admitted that the British actor was basically his second fight coordinator.” Stegemann continued as he described how deeply Cavill was involved in the process and even choreographed some sequences with him. It might surprise you to know but the actor also performed 100% of the action scenes on his own.

Elsewhere in the interview, the stunt director even credited Freya Allen who plays Ciri in the series for her dedication. Stegemann appreciated the actress for performing all her stunts by herself. The incredible commitment the two actors showed in the series further encouraged the creators to design more complex scenes. Despite all this, there might be a reason for fans to dislike the third season.

We are no strangers to the fact that The Witcher is perhaps one of the most loved shows on Netflix. The fantasy series enjoys a massive fan following around the world. However, at the same time, it seems like the show has a lot of work to do with the upcoming seasons if it wants to continue that way.

Firstly, as we all know that towards the second season, we witnessed how the creators started shifting from the original source material. Owing to that, the show lost a huge chunk of fans. However, not long ago, Lauren Hissrich promised that the third season would more closely follow the novels.
