‘Heartstopper’s’ Joe Locke Spent “four months” Doing THIS for an Upcoming Marvel Project

Heartstopper has just delighted fans with its comeback. The trailer for its upcoming second season has everybody waiting to dive back into this cozy show that touched upon so many intricate details. From self-discovery to accurate representation, the show offered us it all. And the lead of this series, Joe Locke, garnered a lot of attention for his loved performance. Venturing out of this romantic comedy, the actor is all set out to capture the hearts of Marvel fans. Locke got candid in an interview and excitedly told about sending four months doing something particular for his Marvel project. 

Revealing that he spent quite some time on it, let us take a look at what kept the actor busy for four long months.

Playing Charlie Springs in the Netflix series, this actor is all set to play in the superhero series, Agatha: Coven of Chaos. Although he kept things hushed about the potential character he was playing, the actor revealed whatever details he could with a giddy smile. In an interview with W magazine, the actor revealed spending a “four-month period” for the auditions. He was so passionate about getting into the Marvel film, recalling, “I did everything I could to get it.” 

After getting the role that he was unaware of before auditioning, he spent six months with his dream co-actors. Among them were Patti LuPone and Aubrey Plaza. He also received an autographed face from Plaza.

Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be based on the story of a powerful witch, and rightly so, the sequel of WandaVision. We all witnessed the character of Agnes as the oh-so-kind and caring neighbor of Wanda. But things took a dark turn in the show with Agnes. And this new upcoming series is all set to deep dive into that story.

Although we don’t know much about what is in store with Locke being cast in the series, it will definitely add freshness. While the development of the series started long back in 2021, the trailer is not yet here. This series of nine episodes of the fifth phase of MCU will probably release sometime in 2024.
