“Heartbreaking” and “reinvigorating”, Maya Hawke Struggles as She Talks ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 End
Stranger Things is coming to an end, marking what some might call the end of an era. For over eight years, the show has been watched and re-watched by millions of fans, drawing record-breaking viewership on the streaming platform. With Netflix's poster child currently in production for its final season, fans have inundated the web with their theories and speculation for the showdown. As filming inches closer to its wrap, Maya Hawke, known for playing Robin, has opened up about her feelings regarding the show’s conclusion too.
Even before the show has closed its last chapter, apparently, it has already cast a shadow of melancholy over Hawke.

Maya Hawke is known for keeping tight-lipped when it comes to spilling spoilers about Stranger Things. However, she did not hesitate to pour her heart out to fans about her feelings towards the show's ending. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at Monday’s premiere of Inside Out 2, Hawke reflected on her "long journey" on the show, which feels even longer for some of the other cast members. “It's already starting to be heartbreaking,” said the 25-year-old.
Talking about the new season in the making, Hawke further explained how “reinvigorating” and “fun” the process is. The actress had hinted earlier this year that the release of the highly-anticipated season 5 will take longer than one might expect. This means the cast will probably get some more time to spend with each other on the sets they are so emotionally attached with. Nonetheless, not everyone in the cast is feeling the same way about the show's ending as Hawke.
In fact, some are rather eager to bid farewell to the show, including the lead, Millie Bobby Brown.

As Stranger Things approaches its final episode, many stars have come forward to share their feelings about it. While actors like Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink seem reluctant to leave the Hawkins world behind, others like Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and David Harbour believe the show should end now.
During an interview with Glamour magazine, Millie Bobby Brown even shared how the Netflix show is limiting her from pursuing stories she is passionate about, especially since it "takes up a lot of time to film." However, while the fifth season will mark the end of the parent show, spin-offs are still in discussion, which should keep the Hawkins world alive on Netflix.
