Kanye West disappointed many fans when he did not appear in the Ghanaian concert. Despite his controversies, the singer remains one of the most sought-after performers in today’s time. Although it has been a long since he has performed, since his Presidential campaign, divorce proceedings and interviews have taken a front seat.

The artist is also deemed to have disappeared in the last few weeks, giving rise to certain speculations. But then he was reported to have been spotted with different companies a couple of times. He was also speculated to attend a concert in Ghana, but despite the anticipation, he was nowhere to be seen. As of now, Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has reacted to Ye’s absence.

Kwaw Kese reacts to Kanye West being absent from the much anticipated Ghanaian concert

Kanye West did not make it to the Black Star concert, as fans expected. As per GhanaWeb, rapper Kwaw Kese has reacted to the American singer’s absence from the concert. He took to Twitter with laughing emojis and wrote, “Kanye took two puffs of Acapulco and got knocked out. He just woke up. Y’all wanted Ye for a free show.” Clearly, fans were not pleased with Ye being a no-show. In fact, the person who announced the absence on social media was attacked heavily for being a mere informant.

On the other hand, the singer was spotted in Beverly Hills driving around with an unknown woman. Before that, the artist was speculated to have disappeared for a while but was seen chatting up in a restaurant with another couple. Earlier, the Donda rapper was rumored to have landed in Ghana and was ready to perform. Other performers at the concert were T- Pain, Jeremih, Erykah, Badu, Chance The Rapper, and Vic Mensa.

The Ghanaian concert apparently gathered 52,000 attendees on Friday night. It is supposed to be a celebration of Black culture and artists, to unite the country as well. While the concert was a super success, Ye made a buzz even without being in it.
