Once the richest rapper in the world and a sought-after entrepreneur, Kanye West seems to be on a universal blacklist. Owing to a series of antisemitic comments by Ye, several of his high-rolling business partners, like Balenciaga, MRC entertainment, and more, have ended their professional relationship with him. However, the biggest blow to his empire was the falling out with Adidas.

This was not the Donda artist’s first controversy. A couple of weeks ago, West appeared on the Drink Champs podcast and made several inaccurate statements about George Floyd’s death blaming it on fentanyl rather than the Minneapolis police officers. In a recent, seemingly on-the-spot interview with the paparazzi, Kanye West apologized for his comments on Floyd’s tragic passing.

In the aftermath of the Kanye West-Adidas split, the paparazzi confronted the Power singer on Friday, October 28. Apart from his explanation regarding his antisemitic behavior, West even expressed his regret for making false claims about George Floyd’s death.

“When I see that video as a Black person, it hurts my feelings. And I know that police do attack and America is generally racist,” stated Ye.

“So when I questioned the death of George Floyd, it hurt my people,” added the Flashing Lights singer.

He further connected the tragedy to his falling out with Adidas. The rapper allegedly seems to have had certain epiphanies after the massive sporting brand severed ties with him.

“I want to apologize. Because God has showed me by what Adidas is doing, by what the media is doing, I know how it feels to have a knee on my neck now,” said West.

The Yeezy founder called upon God and expressed his gratitude to the deity.

“Because how could the richest Black men ever be humbled other than to be made to not be a billionaire in front of everyone off of one comment,” stated the Runaway artist.

After several severed ties with numerous companies, Kanye’s net worth has reportedly dropped from $2 billion to $500 million; enough to strip off his billionaire tag. Meanwhile, George Floyd’s family is also preparing for a $250 million dollar lawsuit against Kanye West.
