Prince Harry and Meghan Markle heated their enemies and brought in a whole lot of indifference through their Netflix docuseries. With Archie and Princess Diana at the heart of it, the Duke and the Duchess told the whole world about what exactly was going on in the Palace’s closed doors. Starting from exposing the Institution to bashing everyone who had a connection with it, each of their revelations made headlines the next day. Although, the love from the few of their full-time supporters has stopped unmatched. 

Among all big names of the industry who lend their support to the Sussexes, we always forget the one they are grateful to the most. The ones who actually stuck to them through thick and thin living in their vicinity, getting a closer look. Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother is one such who has actually been in their shoes to know how it felt like. Next was Archie’s first nanny, Lorren Khumalo, another brave and affectionate woman of colour, whom the Sussexes can never thank enough. 

Twitter expressed gratitude to a silent ally of Harry and Meghan 

Not all superheros wear capes and masks, some were aprons and gloves. Khumalo was one of the very few people Meghan Markle and Prince Harry trusted the children with. From the loving video segments shown in the docuseries, Khumalo had nourished and loved after the family as one of her own. In a statement, the Duchess even affirms that Khumalo not only took care of Archie but she also cared for Meghan very closely during her pregnancy with Lilibet. Fans meanwhile, have got equally overwhelmed and emotional about the same.

“You could tell from the documentary that she has a lovely spirit,” wrote a fan.

In fact, legends even have it that it was Lorren who rescued Archie out of their house on fire soon after the Duke and Duchess’ South African tour. People on Twitter addressed the same and took a moment to bestow their genuine respect did not return for her.
