With its peppy set designs and ever-so-shocking plot twists, Stranger Things has subjected its fanbase to a lot of 'strange things' in the form of death eaters and burned-out Vecna. However, as it heads towards its final destiny, someone has played a reverse uno card. As per the X account, Stranger Things Updates, the team received some threats that slowed down the production. More specifically, the blackmailer instituted they would "burn" themselves on the "Upside Down backlot."

Not only is the threat scary, to say the least, but it seems to take into consideration the theme of the show, where almost every menacing act goes down in the Upside Down. The Stranger Things Updates account concluded that this was an anonymous note left by someone from the set design department.

It is a fact known to many that the plot of Stranger Things is set in Hawkins of the 90s. Therefore, the show not only gets a chance to make riches from 90s culture but also gets into the nitty gritties of little Hawkins. This led to the iconic cemetery scene where Max finds herself mid-air, and it seems as per the latest update that the cast will find themselves at another cemetery in Stranger Things Season 5.

According to the Stranger Things Updates account, the cast has been filming at the Stone Mountain Cemetery as of late. While the onslaught of delays that Stranger Things has been meeting is truly worrisome leaving fans to cope with bizarre theories, it is very likely that the latest 'threat' may have just been a cast or crew member compelled to do so given the filming location. Regardless, the delay is done, and the damage is caused.
