Shooting had begun earlier this year in February. Sharing his excitement, in wrapping up the age-old classic, del Toro stated, "Shooting has been completed on 'F' - Joy!!!" on his handle. The update, nonetheless, sparked eagerness among fans and followers, awaiting the film's release.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Jacob Elordi, Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. Moreover, Frankenstein is set to premiere on Netflix, with a release date expected soon. Despite no release date on the horizon yet, The Dreadful starring Sophie Turner opposite Kit Harington, her Game of Thrones co-star, is set to thrill audiences in a big-screen horror film. Although The Dreadful will not be streaming on Netflix, its theatrical release is highly anticipated. Moreover, given Turner's versatility, The Dreadful seems to be a must-watch in case it lands this horror season.
