Guillermo del Toro Leaves Fans in Awe of His Iteration of the Legendary Tale of Pinocchio
Pinocchio seems to have touched many hearts. The little boy made of wood has been a familiar character for generations and was first created centuries ago in 1881 by Carlo Collodi as part of his stories. The first person to play the character was Alessandro Tommei in 1947. Since then, many versions of the character have been made through series or movies.
The latest version of Pinocchio is directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson. It casts Gregory Mann in the lead, with Ewan Mc Gregor, Finn Wolfhard, and Ron Perlman as voice actors. The animated movie was released this month and Toro has received some amazing compliments for it.

Fans cannot stop praising Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio
Netflix Animation’s movie Pinocchio has received a lot of praise. Twitteratis are going gaga over Toro’s creation. The animated movie is deemed to be the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and emotions. The directors’ take on Collodi’s story showed its own originality when bringing it to the big screen, decades after the original creation, and has received widely positive reactions about his rawness. To remake a classic piece in modern times is a challenge, but the Hellboy creator is receiving appreciation for sticking to the movie’s roots while winning the viewer’s hearts.

Pinocchio is originally known for his unique nose. We know that the character’s nose grows whenever he lies. But the creators have managed to use this unique aspect during the movie, while the main focus has been the wooden boy’s adventures. The movie’s basic plot revolves around Geppetto’s creation. He is a carpenter who loses his son during The Great War and eventually carves a human-like structure in memory of his son. But the story only begins from there.
