Just when we thought the docuseries chapter is finally closed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said, “not today”. The six-part docuseries that made its way into our screen on the 8th of December made it very clear that the Royal Family has a lot of things to get in order. The revelations made in the tell-all Netflix project swept the UK Sovereigns off their feet and the media has not been very calm about it. 

The record-breaking docuseries broke the internet as fans and spectators could not stop gushing about the estranged couple. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stripped the Royal Family of its darkest secrets and it took no time for the viewers to bombard the social media platforms with their polarising reactions. As royal fans were outraged, the Sussex fandom went ecstatic about the million-dollar project. However, that is not it. 

Celebrities put forward their opinion on Harry & Meghan docuseries 

Apart from fans, we got some more well-established personalities in the industry who could help but chip in their reviews about the Harry & Meghan documentary. “I found it a bit boring,” said the Real Housewives of New York City alum, Bethenny Frankel, according to US Weekly. “Grab a job for money,” said another. Further commenting on the project were celebrities like Maren Morris and Gayle King. However, their views completely stood against the harsh remarks addressing the hatred of the Duchess. 

“This profound hatred and annoyance at Meghan Markle specifically…is unfathomable,” said Morris for her part in defending the Duchess. The Bravo alum on the other hand felt that the self-exiled should have further pressed on the Princess Diana angle which was already shown extensively in the series. Coming back to Frankel, she boldly noted the attributes of Meghan Markle at the time she stepped into the Royal Family. 

“Meghan walked into the monarchy, a divorcee, older and a woman of color,” she said addressing how all it contributed to things getting tangled with each passing day. The reviews and endless internet stand witness to all the polarizing opinions the couple is receiving to this day.
