The White Wolf has an immense amount of physical strength because of his mutant gene. Although not unlike Yennefer, Geralt also has magical powers, which are his instincts. Even without his elixir, he has fearlessness and strength, which gives him the advantage of surviving against any enemy. Be it fortunate or unfortunate, throughout the course of 2 seasons, we saw Geralt of Rivia being extremely neutral from having a political opinion and choosing a side.

But when it came to saving his Child Surprise, Princess Cirilla of Cintra, he finally chose one to keep her safe. His practicality and non-emotional response to any and every situation is one of his greatest strengths. If you remember when Tissaia brought Yennefer to Aretuza, Yennefer was not at all capable of controlling herself, let alone attempting to accept her magical powers. From Piglet to the Fire, Yennefer’s character showcased the kind of development in her powers that is truly commendable. So, does this mean Yennefer is more powerful than Geralt?

Is Yennefer more powerful than the White Wolf?

Yennefer of Vengerberg is pure chaos, however, it took her a long time to accept it and to make sense of the true agenda running around in Aretuza. But once she embraced her Chaos, she became unstoppable as we saw the peak of her strength in the Battle of Sodden Hill. From a girl who disregarded her place at Aretuza in the beginning to a woman who could control an entire room of people to act out her sexual desires, Yennefer’s powers grew.

Moreover, her fight against Fringilla, Stregobor, and, of course, the Fire Mage, Rience, among others, proved how strategic her thinking is. Her raw magical powers always benefitted her, which she did not notice at the beginning. However, once she embraced them along with her Elven ancestry, her dominance grew throughout her journey. As we saw toward the end of The Witcher season 3, Yennefer became the leader of the remaining mages and embraced her political role as well.

While one has extremely powerful physical strength, the other one has raw and vigorous magic. One is the child of Chaos, while the other is an emotionless mutant. It is not easy to choose who is more powerful between the two, as they both unimaginably complement each other.
