Fuji TV Debuts New ‘Metallic Rouge’ Trailer, Series to Be Part of Fuji TV +Ultra Block Programing
For all the anime fans out there, 2023 is shaping up to be a very good year. Plenty of live-action announcements to remakes are making their way to TV. It seems like the bad spell of last year has finally come to an end. Fuji TV recently announced a new anime, Metallic Rouge, for Fuji TV’s +Ultra Programming slot. The broadcasting channel just unveiled the trailer, causing fans to save the date on their calendars.
The much-anticipated anime is set in a place where humans and Android both exist together. The main character, Rouge, is introduced as an android girl. We follow Rouge and her partner Naomi as they set on a mission to Mars. Their mission involves taking care of artificial humans and eliminating them from society, as they are a threat to the government.

The trailer immediately drops us into a futuristic world where cars fly. Set against soft music, the soundtrack serves as a contrast to the events that take place right after the introduction. Two Androids are seen having a showdown. The one-minute 7 seconds clip ends with the anime logo and credits. The makers have even unveiled the poster art for the upcoming series. It shows Rouge in her Android avatar.
Yutaka Izubuchi worked as a chief director and series compositor. Motonobu Hori helmed the series, while Toshihiro Kawamoto sharpened the character designs. Tasei Iwasaki has worked on the music and BONES produced the anime. There is no exact release date yet. But the anime is to premiere sometime in January 2024 and fans are over the moon.
Metallic Rouge trailer gets a warm welcome from fans
Fans have the best reaction to the latest update. While many were excited about the upcoming series, a few were hearing about Metallic Rouge for the first time. The latter group of fans were also curious to know if the manga is any good.

Besides Metallic Rouge, Fuji TV has unveiled the rest of its programming schedule. It includes the tentatively titled Bloody Escape which has a premiere date in 2024, Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage to premiere this year in October. For vampire fans, Fuji TV is offering Undead Murder Face in July. And lastly, there is KamiErabi GOD dropping in October.

All these new series will stream on Crunchyroll. However, residents of Asia will have to wait until it stops airing in Japan. Meanwhile, fans can hop over to Netflix to consume their anime offerings.
