Fans celebrate the sixth anniversary of 13 Reasons Why

Even if you haven’t watched 13 Reasons Why in all these years, you probably have
heard of the hype and popularity it brought to Netflix in 2017. Based on the
2007 Jay Asher novel of the same name, this show managed to set a strong mark
upon its release. The adaptation was so authentic that it started a constant
debate on social media about the way it deals with sensitive topics like suicide
and mental health. The series focused on the death of Liberty High student
Hannah Baker and its aftermath. Although the later seasons ruined the charm that
the first two seasons created, people still like to cherish those days of the
beginning. On the sixth anniversary of the show, fans couldn’t stop but swoon
over all the Selena Gomez songs and Katherine Langford’s acting.

Pop Base recently shared some pictures of 13 Reasons Why on Twitter to remind
users that the show has completed six years today. As the show premiered on this
day March 31 and instantly took a seat on the top list. In 2017, season 1
garnered a total of 476 million view hours within a month of its release, giving
tough competition to flagship shows like Money Heist.

These glimpses of the show seem to have rushed back all the memories it left
fans with. Including Katherine Langford, who gained multiple award nominations
for her work on the Netflix show. Not to forget how viewers endlessly streamed
the songs Selena Gomez sang for the show.

Fans are going gaga over the iconic superstar sharing her songs in the comment
section and pictures of the actress who still remains the cornerstone of the
series.


FANS GUSHING OVER SELENA GOMEZ AND CAST MEMBERS OF THE NETFLIX SHOW 

Walking down the aisle of memories, one fan instantly commented, “let’s not
forget only you by Selena Gomez,” alongside a clip from the show. “I remember
being in class and all of us would be watching it in the back of the class on
one or two phones it was definitely an Era,” a second fan recalled the old days.

“Every day since then I feel like Hannah Baker,” someone praised Katherine.
