One of the leading providers in the genre is Netflix. And interestingly, the streaming platform has some exciting updates for the fans. 

Netflix has a massive catalog of animated shows and films for its users to binge on. Time and again, the streamer keeps bringing new ones for its users. However, it seems like Netflix is all set to expand its library as it announced an upcoming event revealing a handful of new releases.

If you are an avid watcher of animated projects, you are in for a treat with the upcoming Netflix event. In a few days, the streamer will kick off an exciting virtual event, Netflix Drop 01, promising some incredible updates for the fans. A plethora of new shows will be making their way to the platform through the end of the year and beyond. The event will showcase the fans a glimpse of all the upcoming projects, and recently, the streamer released an exciting trailer. 

Drop 01 will kick off towards the end of the month on September 27th and live-stream on Twitch and YouTube channels. The 90-minute event will give the fans an early look at the first three episodes of Castlevania: Nocturne. The animated series will premiere on Netflix a day after, on September 28th. In between the episodes of Castlevania, the streamer will also give a sneak peek of other exciting projects. Animes likely to be showcased include Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and Sonic Prime Chapter 3. Out of all, the excitement surrounding Castlevania: Nocturne is massive.

Castlevania: Nocturne has been arguably one of the most awaited projects on Netflix this year. The series will continue the story from where Castlevania left off. The upcoming installment will dive deeper into the mystical Belmont family, uncovering their thrilling adventures. Few days back, Netflix dropped its trailer and fans were elated as they took to Twitter to express their excitement.

Sophie Skelton will reprise the role of Julia Belmont while Kevin Koldewill returns as the showrunner. If the upcoming series will follow its video game adaptation, chances of James Callis’s Alucard and Graham McTavish’s Dracula returning will be higher.
