Freya Allan Reveals How Her Life “Feels the Same”, Even After Heading a Show as Big as ‘The Witcher’ Alongside Henry Cavill
The much-awaited second part of the third season of The Witcher is almost here. And the trailer of the second part builds the hype just the right amount. Freya Allan, who stars as the charming character of Ciri, will see her character develop more by the end. Ciri holds up her own in the desert. She learns to be in control of her power while being more fierce and independent. This mystical character is played by the young Allan, who took the internet by storm at just 21 years old. And recently, she got candid in an interview, which was conducted before the SAG-AFTRA strike.
She shared about the changes in her life and how she ended up being starred in the famous and central role of Princess Cirilla of Cintra.

Freya Allan, the young British actress, is very down to earth when it comes to living life and her values. The actress recently appeared in an interview with Numero magazine and candidly shared how her life has changed after starring in the show The Witcher. She credited the show to be the start of her career and how it has taught her everything that she knows today. She also humbly acknowledged the show to have given her the stability that not most people her age enjoy.
It helped her grow as an actor too. But after all the learning curves, Allan said that everything else “feels the same.” She shared how she still enjoys the company of her friends who have known her since high school. Visiting her family in Oxford is something that she holds dear.
While we know her for her fantasy magical role in The Witcher, the actress will be seen starring in the Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes in May the next year.

The Princess of Cintra talked us through the journey of getting cast in The Witcher. Freya Allan called how she really liked the character of Ciri. Despite being selected for the role initially, the plans changed and she got cast for another character. The character description had changed and hence so was her casting. But later, they put her back on the choice for the last audition for Ciri and she got chosen. Apparently, they had really liked her initial audition tape.
While Cavill has left the role of the Geralt of Rivia, the actress has kept The Witcher tradition alive. She even shared how she was surprised when Cavill broke the news of his exit. It had taken her aback, but she decided to look at the positive side and celebrate everyone’s work.
