With the fourth season shifting its focus onto the brave character, fans have already been curious to find out what adventures could be in store for them.

Now, as the series works on its pre-production, the actress behind it all recently ended up hyping up the upcoming season. While she did not know how things could play out, she seemed intrigued by the possibilities.

Freya Allan hypes up Ciri’s arc in The Witcher

In a recent interview with Radio Times, Freya Allan opened up about The Witcher’s upcoming season. From talking about her newest co-star, Liam Hemsworth, to her character’s highly anticipated storyline, she shared her thoughts on all of it. However, it was a discussion about Ciri that ended up garnering a lot of attention. During the conversation, the actress revealed that she was “just intrigued how they’re going to translate that story from the books.”

She also added that Ciri’s journey was “a very pivotal moment” for the character’s development. The 22-year-old acknowledged that the story could take “quite a dark turn,” but she still thought it was “exciting.” Unfortunately, fans will have to wait for the next season to drop before they can judge that. While most of the show’s loyal fans will tune in to see how Allan’s story progresses, some might end up joining in for the new faces.

After fumbling the bag with Henry Cavill, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the producer of The Witcher, decided it was time to give fans another one of their favorites.

The Witcher adds a fan-favorite character

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the creators and producers of The Witcher had heeded people’s call. After parting with Henry Cavill and bringing in Liam Hemsworth, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich brought in a new yet beloved character, Regis. While the character has been seen in the franchise’s video games and even in the books by Andrzej Sapkowski, this will be the first time fans will get to see him on screen with the other actors.

They even ended up casting Laurence Fishburne to play the role. While there is no doubt that the actor has tremendous talent, fans were taken aback, as he did not completely fit the character’s aesthetics. Unfortunately, the world will have to wait until 2025 to see the 62-year-old join the other cast members on screen.
